Boards & Commissions
Participation
Citizens have numerous opportunities to participate in their local government. One of the most responsible ways is to volunteer to sit on one of the City's boards or commissions. These advisory boards help shape policy in specific areas from parks to zoning.Take the time to go through these pages and see where you can most effectively help the City make a better community. Each board has its own page (some have their own site) to give you some idea of their purpose. If you feel you have a particular interest or skill that would be useful to the City, fill out an application and submit it to the City secretary's office. We will forward it to Council for consideration in filling vacancies
