You can contact the CID Secretary anytime Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 972-932-3094 ext.210. She will be happy to pull your case and tell you who it is assigned to.

Please report all crimes immediately. Do not wait until later to report an offense because we will lose valuable time, evidence, and information from possible witnesses.

First, DO NOT GO IN THE RESIDENCE! Call 911 and let the officers get there and make sure that the suspect is not still inside.
Second, DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING! Back out of the house and call 911.
The officers will tell you what information they need from you after they clear the residence.

There is no way to know that. There are many factors that go into case priorities. We will, however, look into your case and give it the dedication that it deserves when it is investigated.

We try to get to every case as quickly as we can. We ask that you give the Investigators at least 7 days before calling, unless you have new information that they need to know, then please call as soon as you can with that information. Every person that has a case filed with us will receive a "Case Disposition Form" in the mail when your case is disposed of.
