Due to inclement weather and deteriorating road conditions, City of Kaufman offices and parks will be closed through Tuesday, January 27. Essential services, including Police, Fire, and Public Works, will remain operational.
In addition, the Municipal Court and the Regular City Council Meeting scheduled for Monday, January 26, have been canceled.
The City is closely monitoring weather conditions and will share updates as they become available through the City of Kaufman’s social media channels.

Republic Services Recovery Plan Update:
Republic Services has provided the City with a recovery plan outlining how pickup schedules will be adjusted after being unable to operate on Monday and Tuesday.
Residential Customers:
Thursday, January 29 – Monday trash routes will be collected
Friday, January 30 – Thursday trash routes will be collected
Bulk pickup will be running to complete the January pickup list
Business Customers:
Wednesday, January 28 – Monday routes
Thursday, January 29 – Wednesday routes
Friday, January 30 – Thursday routes
Saturday, January 31 – Friday and Saturday routes
