PUBLIC NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL MEETING FOR CONSIDERATION OF A TAX ABATEMENT AGREEMENT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE CITY OF KAUFMAN, TEXAS
The City Council of the City of Kaufman, Texas (the "City"), following creation of Agile Cold Storage Reinvestment Zone, in the City of Kaufman, Texas, will consider entering into a tax abatement agreement, as follows:
1. The name of the property owner is Agile Cold Dallas, LLC, and the applicant for the tax abatement agreement is Agile Cold Dallas, LLC.
2. The name of the reinvestment zone shall be Agile Cold Storage Reinvestment Zone and the location is on 43.757 acres of land located at 269 S.H. 34 Bypass, an addition to the City of Kaufman, Texas, according to the plat recorded in Volume 9014, Page 172 (Cabinet 4, Sleeve 517) of the Plat Records of Kaufman County, Texas, being 43.7570 acres, generally located at Rand Road and Highway 34. Site is located within Kaufman CAD Parcel ID #16826.
3. The improvements to be included in the tax abatement agreement generally consist of an approximately 123,000 square foot industrial building to be used primarily for cold storage, warehousing, distribution, and related improvements.
4. The estimated costs of the improvements are approximately $46,000,000.00.
Pursuant to the Texas Open Meetings Act (the “Act”), the City will consider approval of the tax abatement agreement at 6:30 p.m. on November 17, 2025, in the City Council chambers in the City Hall, 209 South Washington Street, Kaufman, Texas.
This notice shall remain continuously posted for at least 30 days prior to the meeting and shall be posted in the same manner as required by the Act for a City Council meeting.
