Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Kaufman will conduct a public hearing and consider an ordinance on Monday, February 24, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall, 209 S. Washington Street, Kaufman, TX 75142, for the purpose of receiving public comments on the City’s participation in the Texas Enterprise Zone Program pursuant to the Texas Enterprise Zone Act, Chapter 2303, Texas Government Code as revised and to consider the nomination of Agile Cold Dallas, LLC, located at 269 State Highway 34, Kaufman, TX 75142 (Kaufman CAD Parcel ID #16826), as an Enterprise Zone Project to the Office of the Governor Economic Development and Tourism. Possible tax incentives to be offered to this project within the City of Kaufman, potentially including a tax abatement and a 380 Agreement, will be discussed at the meeting.
