Come out and join in on all the fun family-friendly festivities at the City of Kaufman's 2024 Red White & Boom Independence Day celebration.
We will kick off the morning with a parade up S. Washington St. at 9:00 AM parade. The parade starts at S Washington St. and US- 175, it will travel north on S. Washington, continue around the Downtown Square, and end at Shannon Park. The theme for the parade is "America’s Super Heroes."
The Stride & Stroll Kids Parade is a parade featuring kids who decorate their own floats, bikes, strollers, or strut their costumes as superheroes! Twice around the square at 11:00 AM.
The gates at the Sports Complex will open at 5:30 PM with the cost of $20.00 per carload. CASH ONLY.
There will be bounce houses, food and craft vendors, outdoor games, and more for the kids and families to enjoy. The music lineup is as follows:
- 6:00 PM - TK Brown
- 7:00 PM - Tyler Stokes
- 8:00 PM - National Anthem
- 8:30 PM - The Marcus Lindsey Band
- 9:30 PM - Fireworks!
No glass, or BBQ grills, please.
