What is the capacity? 

The Kaufman Civic Center has an occupancy limit of 711 for standing room, 300 for banquet seating, and 350 for conference style seating.

How do I get there?

The Kaufman Civic Center is located at 607 E. Fair Street, Kaufman, Texas 75142, near the intersection of Highway 175 and Highway 34 bypass.  Please see the Contact Us page for a map and directions.

How long is my rental?

A Full day rental is based on 8 hours which includes time to set-up, event time and time to tear down. You can choose an 8-hour block of time between 7:00 am - 10:00 pm Sunday - Thursday; or 7:00 am - 11:00 pm Friday - Saturday. Half day rentals are for a 4-hour time block. 

What time does the building close? 

The building closes at 10:00 pm Sunday through Thursday and midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Please refer to your contract for specific event ending times, cleanup and exiting times. You may purchase a half day rental to clean up the following day if needed.

Can I have an outdoor event at your location? 

Our facility is not set up for outdoor events.

What are your table sizes? 

Most common tables are 72” rounds that seat up to 8 per table or 6’ rectangular that seat 6 to a table. Special sizes are available upon request.

What do I have to do to book your facility? 

Our facility requires the deposit and a signed contract to secure your date and room for your event. 

How far out can I book?

Events may be booked one year in advance.

What are your office (appointment) hours?  

Appointment hours are Monday through Friday 8 AM- 4:30 PM. Please allow one-hour minimum for appointment time.  Special times are available upon request.

Do you offer Package or Turnkey events? 

Our facility does not offer packages. Our referral directory will assist you with your vendor needs.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation (or rescheduling) of an event must be received in writing no later than 14 days prior to the event date to receive refund of down payment.
